Kandi Cuff: What am I doing wrong?

I'm making Kandy/Candy/Kandy for my raver friend, and every time i try to make a cuff it branches out and it does not cling to my wrist all through . the first row is nice and tight (the single) but the rest of it just gets bigger and droops. Help !
