To Mormons:When was the last time your Prophet has been given a revelation about future events?

What is a man who stands at a pulpit and says if you do this you will be saved if you do not this you will not be saved. Is that not a prediction about the future? Is that not a prophecy about salvation, the most important thing you could be prophesying about? The last time I heard the prophet speak on such a subject was October and he will be speaking in May.
