What do i do about my ex that i still love?

ok about 3 weeks ago i got locked up (got in a fight while on probation, got stuck in there 10 days) while going out with the girl of my dreams, we both loved each other very much, but she decided to believe the rumors going around about y i got locked up so she decided to date somebody else to make me mad, i got out and she found out what really happened, now she is always upset because she still loves me (she says) but she is still with him and wants to give him a chance (plus hes frickin psycho and shes prolly afraid to leave him) and shes upset because im getting mad about it, me and him hate each other and we have come close to getting into a fight but we are both in a lot of trouble, and i personally will get put away for a long time if i get in trouble again. what should i do? should i just say 4get it and move on? or should i wait it out?(remember i love her)
