My car wont start, sometimes. It has power, but won't turn over. I think its my solenoid,, help me please!?

all the power works,, I turn the key and nothing,, then it starts,,I have banged on the starter, buit cant reach the solenoid. It does click one time while turning the key. The car is 1990 madza 929s
