Is it possible/advisable to jump start a car with a 50cc scooter? Anything potentially dangerous about this?

My car battery died, and I have access to a scooter that has it's own battery. Can one simply jump start the car with the scooter in the same fashion that one would jump start a car with another car? The scooter has a 50 cc motor, and is a Honda Metropolitan. Are there potential dangers in doing this?
