Dyslexia at age 20? Tips? Tricks? Confirmation sites?

I have a friend, she was born in a third world country and came to Canada (Where I live) just about 2 years ago. I can tell she has dyslexia.. She came from an English speaking country. Trinidad & Tobago (Which for some reason is considered a third world country). Anyways I don't know how she can get the help now.. But anyways I want to know ways to help her conquer it.. Or you know somewhere where she can take a test to confirm. Anything helps. Thanks a lot!
