Does anyone know of any cool clubs or bars in Brighton?

Basically me and my boyfriend are going to Brighton for three days and we really enjoy nightlife, especially indie, jazz and blues music and tails and I was wondering if anyone knew of any decent clubs or bars to try out? I'm 19 and he's 32 so we're looking for something not too young but not too old either. I've been searching for hours and getting nowhere! There are so many so I was wondering if any of you lovely people could help me wade through the chaff and find the gems :) Thanks!!
